If the grand finale isn’t going to be a whiz-bang, sky lighting showcase event, and you’ve already figured out that you’ve failed at this project, either blow it up figuring out what went wrong, or put it to bed and move on.
You know the drill…
It was a flop on the sidelines. Nobody even noticed your program, and it died before it really began.
Do you really want to continue beating a dead horse, or would you be more productive stepping up the pace and finding a new, profitable project to grab onto?
Goal setters know that it isn’t always possible to reach every goal. Some goals just weren’t meant to be, and when you run into one of those, you can either determinedly, doggedly, and dreadfully stay the course and waste time beating the dead horse, or you can admit failure, learn from your mistake and let go.
Just because you’ve already invested time and money in a project, you don’t have to invest more.
Stop already, and set your sights for new adventure.
